CNS 11643-1992/2004+ Plane 3

This block of 6,148 hanzi has been part of CNS 11643 since its inception in 1986. It was moved from Plane 14 to Plane 3 in 1992. It is composed of rare [罕用] hanzi used by government agencies. A second collection of 247 hanzi was added in 2006. As of Unicode 10.0 (June 2017), there are 47 Plane 3 hanzi that map to CJK Compatibility Ideographs. One hanzi in Plane 3 does not map to Unicode.
